Analysis and Action Plan
Top priorities include fire mitigation and preparedness, more social events, reducing speeding and improving pedestrian safety, launching a more useful community website, and expanding volunteer initiatives.
Residents proposed ideas such as clearer fire evacuation routes, exploring more cisterns, speed feedback signs, more gatherings and cul-de-sac socials, trail and weed clean-up days, snow shoveling help, and a website that serves as a practical hub for information, contractors, event calendars, and resource sharing.
People say they love Crestview for its peaceful semi-rural setting, natural beauty, wildlife, dark skies, larger lots, and strong sense of community close to town.
The CERG board received overwhelmingly positive reviews, with most respondents satisfied or very satisfied and repeatedly expressing gratitude for the board’s time, leadership, and communication.
Guided by the survey and analysis plan, the board is now prioritizing high-impact, feasible projects—especially around fire safety, communication, and volunteer efforts—to reflect the community’s voice.
