News and Notes
Dumpster day was a success. We had folks lined up at the opening and kept filling dumpsters up to the last minute. Thank you to our 'dumpster captains' that oversaw the event and to Seth for coordinating it.
Last years chipping event was also a success! We had the second most chipping properties in the program. Only Eldorado Canyon (entire canyon) had us beat.
FireWise application - the Community Wildfire Protection Plan is the basis for this submission. We are waiting for a final signature from the forest service to have this approved so we can apply in 2026.
WEBSITE
Anyone want to write a blog post for the neighbor? If so, pick your topic, write it up and submit it to crestview.cerg@gmail.com for us to review at the next CERG meeting.
We had a few bots try to sign up for the website but our filters are finding them and keeping them out. If anyone submits a new profile to the website and its not immediately available, we are just monitoring things and may reach out to confirm you are within the neighborhood.
As a board we also reviewed new content and continued to learn the 'inner workings' of the website and hosting platform.
POTHOLES
CERG took pictures of a few potholes near the 'guardrail' turn where Middle Crest becomes Thunderhead. (Because of my delay in posting these notes, BoCo has filled in these potholes for us!)
If anyone wants to submit 'fix it' reports for roadway conditions, please do so here https://bouldercounty.gov/transportation/road-maintenance/road-service-request/
SMALLER COMMUNITY EVENTS
We will wait until April/warmer weather to get these events started.
