I don't plan to create a new post for each social this summer but instead use this as a running location to add notes, updates and pictures for each social. June 11 - Our inaugural social event hosted at Larkspur and Thunderhead. It was great to see folks from various places in Crestview coming together to meet each other.

We held another successful chip and shred event in Crestview. In just 1.5 days, we cleared 4.5 truckloads of wood chips (fuel) from the neighborhood. Jonah, Jacob, and Dustin from Lefthand Fire were great to work with! All the volunteers remained safe and were fantastic too! A Big Win for Wildfire Mitigation! Crestview Estates residents showed up ready to make a difference at the Community Roll-Off Dumpster Day. The goal of the event was simple but important: reduce wildfire risk by removing burnable materials stored in yards, along fences, and near structures.
