🪵 Chip & Shred Recap — Great Success!
Our spring chip and shred event wrapped up smoothly, finishing in just a day and a half. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make it such a quick turnaround!
A note for next year's brush piles: To help the chipping crew work efficiently, please keep these guidelines in mind when cutting and stacking:
Leave branches at their full length — the longer the better. Anything under a foot is too short to chip effectively.
Maximum length is 10 feet.
Do not leave a "Y" fork at the bottom of branches.
Going forward, the dumpster will be offered every other year, while chipping will continue annually.
🔥 Wildfire Partners Update
Our partners at Wildfire Partners may be facing some budgetary constraints, so there is currently a pause on new events from their side. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
🎉 Summer Socials — Mark Your Calendars!
Notes
The last neighborhood social was a hit — well received by all who attended! We have two more lined up this summer:
Next Social: Thursday, July 16th, 7–9 PM Top of Crestridge. July Event details
Following Social: Thursday, August 6th Middle Fork Road. August Event details
And keep an eye out for a more formal fall gathering later in the season.
🚗 Safety Improvement: New Guard Rail Mirror
Brad has installed a large mirror at the guard rail to improve visibility around that tricky corner. A small but meaningful safety upgrade for our road — thank you, Brad!
👋 Welcome New Neighbors!
The welcome committee has been busy! If you see a new face on the road, give them a wave — we have some wonderful additions to the community coming our way!
