Private trail use reminders

Updated: 3 days ago

Hello Crestview Neighbors!

Regardless of the time of year, it is always a great time to enjoy our beautiful Foothills location—especially the neighborhood trail we’re so lucky to have right in our backyard. Thanks to landowners who grant access, and to many of you who volunteer your time for trail maintenance and weed removal, we can all enjoy this special place. It's a privilege we share, and one we all help protect by using the trail responsibly.

The trail primarily passes on private property, and we’re fortunate that our neighbors have graciously given us permission to use it for recreation. So here’s a quick refresher on how we can all do our part:

Stay on the trail - Always!

  • Rockpile adjacent to a trail
Keep an eye out for guidance markers like rock piles. They’re often used to help with erosion control, and trail direction. If you come across muddy conditions, it’s best to turn back rather than risk damaging the trail.

Pick up after your pets—every time!

Dog turn buried under a rock
(And no, tossing a rock over the poop doesn’t count!)

Thank you for helping keep the trail beautiful, safe, and open for all Crestview residents to enjoy.
